Description
A beautiful Victorian Staffordshire Spaniel porcelain figurine approx. 8.5 inches tall with copper luster embellishments and a glossy finish that was made in England. This piece has a press-molded body with two small firing holes, one on the base and one on the back left portion of the collar (behind the left ear). Despite the age of this figurine, the colors are still vivid with the black mussel, bright eyes, detailed feet, and rose gold/copper accents. This would look wonderful on a fireplace mantle or entryway table and make a very special birthday or anniversary gift for any Victorian era collector! Item is in very good antique condition; pre-owned with no known chips, cracks, or repairs and no pattern distortions, however, there is crazing present consistent with age (see photos 3 & 10) which adds aesthetic interest to the piece (in my opinion 😊). Figurine measures approx. 8.5"H x 7.25"W x 2.75"D Total weight approx. 1 lb. 8.3 oz. Condition: Most items sold in my shop are considered vintage or even antique, meaning at least 20 years or older.
