Description

Measures approximately 12 3/4 inches tall, 11 1/2 inches wide, and 4 1/4 inches thick. Beautiful antique single Staffordshire dog / King Charles Spaniel figurine / statue. Dog is painted in a classic white glaze and accented with gold / gilt paint. Dog has a sweet face with yellow eyes and long nose / muzzle. Surface wear, scuffs and crazing evident throughout and appropriate for its age. No chips or damage. No maker’s marks are evident, but based upon the quality of craftsmanship we believe it was most likely made in England in the 1800’s. Small vent holes are evident on underside of base and on back of head near dog’s ears. Weighs approximately 4 lbs 5 oz by itself. Thanks for looking and happy buying!
