Description
Offered is a wonderfully large pair of Staffordshire King Charles Spaniel Dogs with glass eyes. This Victorian matched pair of white Staffordshire dogs were made in the 1890's and were often found on the fireplace mantle. They measure 13" tall x 11” wide x 4” depth. Each spaniel is seated directly on the ground with no base. There is age appropriate gilt loss on the front half of each piece. The glaze has some craquelure from age. There ls a surface crack on the back of each dog. Please look carefully at the photos.
