Description
This is a rare pair of Staffordshire Spaniel figurines with copper luster and hand-painted details. These decorative Victorian era pieces feature King Charles Cavalier Spaniels and were produced in the 19th century as art pottery. The dogs are unmarked and have no specific pattern and are made of white and copper porcelain. These figurines are a great addition to any collection and offer a glimpse into the past. They come unboxed and are original pieces from the United Kingdom. The spaniels are 7" tall x 4.75" wide. They would make a perfect addition to your Staffordshire dog collection or a fabulous foundation pair. The are in very good antique condition, but have wear consistent with their age. This includes, slight wear to the muzzle color. There is also a spot on the right dogs hind back end that their glaze did not adhere. This happened during the original fabrication process.
